DESCRIPTION: Reymond, Boult. des Italiens 36, Paris, a black slate mantel clock with automata, the stone case with rectangular, molded base, drumhead top, and mid section with gilt trimmed bevelled glass panel, before a gilt bronze blacksmith shop diorama, the forge at right, and with figure of cupid at his anvil, forging arrows, his hammer rising and falling as the clock strikes, signed Roman numeral white enamel dial, blued steel Breguet style hands, 8 day, time and strike pendule de Paris movement
CONDITION: case with minor flakes and chips, glass good, blacksmith shop with areas of verdigris, dial with scratch near center, hands with oxidation, movement oxidized, and with areas of verdigris, some steel with rust, ticks ands strikes, bell and pendulum replaced, automata functional
